FOR ORGANIZERS! The Opera da Camera di Venezia are available to perform programs of music by Antonio Vivaldi in your local music society, concert hall or church. Our international ensemble, Opera da Camera di Venezia consists in different combinations from 2 to 15 musicians, soloists and opera singers. We also collaborate with international choirs. The different programs - all dedicated to Antonio Vivaldi - comprise concerts for various instruments such as concerts for violin; “Le quattro stagioni” (The four seasons); concerts for two mandolins, sonatas, trio sonatas and concerts for mandolin, lute, flute, recorder, clarinet, basson, cello, harpsichord or organ; cantatas for soprano, contralto or tenor; complete operas such as “Il Giustino” and “La fida ninfa”; sacred music like Gloria and the oratory “Juditha Triumphans”, an exceptional masterpiece for soloists, choir and orchestra with an extraordinary rich instrumentation. Our repertory also includes sonatas for mandolin, cello and harpsichord by Domenico Scarlatti; sonatinas by Ludwig van Beethoven for mandolin and harpsichord; music by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart for flute, cor anglais or clarinet with strings; the “Stabat Mater” by Giovanni Battista Pergolesi and music by various Venetian composers such as Alessandro Marcello, Tomaso Albinoni, Baldassarre Galuppi, Giuseppe Paolucci and others. OPERA DA CAMERA DI VENEZIA with international soloists Our musicians and singers are active in various symphony orchestras, chamber orchestras, baroque ensembles and opera houses including La Scala in Milan, La Fenice in Venice, The Gothenburg Opera and The Malmö Musikteater in Sweden, and the orchestras Venice Baroque and L'Offerta Musicale in Venice. Several have also participated in performances with major conductors such as Muti, Abbado, Curtis, Maazel, Bernstein and Cellibidache. L’Opera da Camera di Venezia collaborate with various swedish choirs such as The Plica Vocalis in The “Stabat Mater” by Pergolesi; The Coro Femminile Cantica in the oratory “Juditha Triumphans” and The “Gloria” by Vivaldi; The Choir Ekeby-Prisma, The Choir of Bankeryd and The Choir of Vadstena Kloster in the “Gloria” by Vivaldi; and with the vocal ensemble The Magpies in a program with music by Bellman, Haydn and Beethoven. Furthermore, we cooperate with the ensemble The Camerata Mandolino Classico in programs such as the Concert for two mandolins and Concerti per molti strumenti by Vivaldi.
