Choral masterpieces by Vivaldi, Bach, Händel and the most  beloved Christmas Carols.   The choral music will be performed together with many hundred singers and choirs from all over the world, the Venetian Chamber Orchestra - Opera da Camera di Venezia - (professional top class musicians) and international vocal soloists. The singers will be allocated in the  order we receive the registration. If any of theses voice groups should be booked out, we retain the right to accept  bookings only for those groups which are to be filled.  Payment After receiving your registration we will send you a confirmation / invoice, which has to be paid within 4 weeks. If the  payment will not be received in time, the order may become void. Services provided by external partners (hotels) must  be fully paid directly to them.   Cancellation  A Cancellation of a Festival ticket until 2 weeks before the event results in a 50 % cancellation fee. For cancellations  thereafter, no refund can be made.  Accommodation in general Accommodation for all choirs, singers and audience will be organized by your self. The Christmas Choral Festival in  Venice will not be able to organize accommodation. We recommend you to look to the many good hotel sites on the  web and book your accomodation directly on the web, long time in advance.  Arrival in Venice & Welcome Cermony After your individual arrival in Venice, please check into your booked accommodation and at 16.30 the Welcome Cermony begin. The rehearsal start after an information meeting. Dress code for the concerts Ladies: black with a matching accessoire. Gentlemen: dinner jacket, white shirt and tie. After leaving Germany he lived in Italy and then in England. Working for English Royalty he created works of world wide significance. The oratorio “Messiah” is Handel’s greatest work.   ANTONIO VIVALDI - “il Prete rosso” Antonio Lucio Vivaldi was born on 4 March 1678 in the parish of San Giovanni in Bragora in Venice. He became Maestro del Violino and Headmaster of the Ospedale della Pietà in Venice: a home for orphaned girls.
